Hey guys this is my 92' S13 i'm a big reader on the site i don't post too much.. but i just wanted to share a little bit about the car and get some quality feedback on what NICO has to say..

I've had this car for about 2 years now and its been a slow process. when i bought the car it was in rough shape. carpet, seats, frame rail, paint, almost everything needed some fixing. So far I've done everything necessary to keep it a clean summer car.

I started off with some poly bushings followed by a set of wheels for the car.

the interior was all redone. carpet, stereo, seats (i don't have pics with my S15 seats in yet. they look wicked ), door panels, headliner. you name it i took it out and re did it.

I followed with an injen cold air intake and a exhaust with a high flow cat and a magnaflow resonator.

Just this winter i had the car repainted. big improvement from before.

Finally, last weekend i installed my suspension KYB Shocks and Struts with a Eibach pro-kit.

*(I know, i know, i should've went with coilovers but i personally don't see the need for them i enjoy the comfortable ride and im not planning on tracking the car.)

I also just did a front brake swap with Q45 calipers and Drilled and slotted rotors all around with PDM stainless brake lines.

Thanks for takin a look. Any Feedback is appreciated.

Nick

EDIT: Hey guys im just addin a few pics w/ tint and new exhaust as well as a pic of the S15 seats. HUGE COMFORT difference in comparison to the S13 seats. I got a set of spacers that are goin on next week i'll put updates on that.

I think i need some new tires with bigger sidewalls? they just don't fill the gap enough. I wish the eibach's pro-kit would've provided a larger drop but the ride quality is great. maybe i should trade the for the sportlines? i heard they were kinda bouncy tho.

let me know what you think.. Nick

Love the hatch area with the custom speakers and panels!..I'm already working on something similar. The grey color is great . very clean look! I kinda liked the original wheels better but just personal preference. The black ones are fine. Still got the originals?? The cupholder was well executed too. I'm still debating doing that change. Looks better to me than the armrest position. Going back to black instead of the red accents in the interior really helped. Thanks for sharing the pics....

How did you manage to fit the 6x9's in the front

Either,

A) He cut out the front of the door card and surface mounted them in there.... easy

or

B) They are really 6.5's but with 6x9 grilles screwed on the outside of the door card.

Clean S13 by-the-way!

In the spare tire area..Did you reuse the original cover for the spare or put down a flat piece of thin plywood and cover it with carpet? Carpet just doesn't seem to lay flat enough with the original fibre board in mine. That whole bottom piece must flip up to get to the spare. Did you hinge it in any way?

yeah the 6 x 9s would've been a tight squeeze and the last guy had cut a hole the size of 6x9 speaker in the panel so i had no choice...

Broadfield, thank you very much. im tryin to use your clean and simple inspiration haha. i saw your car in modified. congrats man.

thanks to all for the compliments.. i definitely will get you the pics with the S15 seats soon..

noo i didnt use anything from the original being that majority of the original parts and covers for the rear were missing. I did use a piece of fibre board. and just glued the carpet to it on one side the opposite has carpet insulation for vibration.. i also helps to level everything out.. the piece just comes out about 1 inch sticks under the sub so that it doesnt move around too much and if you tilt the sub back you can lift up the whole piece to get to the spare..

nice car bro, it's good to see a s13 that's well taken care of. Is the interior still orange? I'm not at all a fan of that look, I would keep the interior stock color.

Man i love your car! The ride height is awesome, aswell as the interior. How do the rear 6x9s sound facing straght up, also are they amplified? You should really do a wright up or something on how you did the hatch area, that would be sweet.

thank-you very much. i appreciate the feedback.. the speakers sound great in the back. im very pleased with how it turned out..how ever the sub amp is hidden inside the right tower where the speaker is in that picture.. yeah it was all pretty much measure and cut.. but if you wanted some specifics i could work something out for you let me know..

I don't want to be a burden, but i would really appreciate it if you don't mind. My main ?'s are, what material did you use, and how is it mounted to the frame?
