New Rubber in the Mail! G37s wheels out of the basement!

I have 2 bald front tires and a bubble in each of the rears on my 18s... Somethings gotta give.

I decided to take the G37s 19s out of the basement at the mother-in-laws and I committed myself to getting some new rubber (fronts on those are totally corded from AutoX and rears are cracking).

I decided to get the same rubber on all 4... The rear rubber... 245/40/19
I need an all season tire, and a deal as well!

I was looking at getting the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's and after all discounts and clickthrus, it would be $630 delivered from TireBuyer.com

Today I did something I dont normally do, I bought something on a whim.... I saw a deal on Dunlop Fierce Instinct VR (id rather have the tire life over the zr's) from OnlineTires.com (a place with a mixed history at BEST) delivered for $630 and I pulled the trigger.



Two things I am nervous about... First, are they actually going to show up and not be old tires? Second are these going to be good tires on track when I use them and in the snow if it ever snows here again lol.

Also just an FYI I am still doing research on Strut/Shock options for us and I think I will have some conclusive information to share shortly as I am replacing those as well!

I looked into those tires a while back and heard they should be pretty good, hopefully you get them ok

Tread design looks aggressive and can channel water quickly. I am to waiting on your struts/shocks investigation.

I ordered a set of tires from that site before (found the same reviews as you), and they came, but it was a pretty long wait. After a few weeks I gave them a call when they still hadn't showed up, and they said new stock was coming and they'll ship out then, and it showed up a couple weeks after that. So basically, prepare for a long wait.

And here it comes! I got a response from the seller.. I emailed them back asking what they have to offer me, we will wait to see their response and I will mention this thread before I put it on blast.

Looks like the "backorder" card is something they like to play often. It could be just a ploy to have tires on their site for cheap, then when people order it, tell them it's on backorder, and hope they switch their order to a more $$$ tire choice.

Unless it's a hurry, I say you stick it out and wait until you get your tires for that price!
