New Rogue, problems with Sirius XM

Today I bought a 2018 Rogue SL AWD and had my Sirius XM service transferred. When I got in the car and selected satellite radio, I could hear it, but the screen just had a circle going around. If you page over on the dashboard readout you can see the station and song just fine. If you go to the main menu on the head unit it says that satellite is loading. I called Sirius XM but they don’t have techs until Monday. All the dealership told me was “technically it’s working”. They said if I can’t get it fixed on Monday by telephone support they will “see what they can do” but refused to put that in writing. I’m guessing there is something wrong with the head unit because I rebooted it several times with no change. Anybody seen this before? I googled everywhere and haven’t found this particular problem.

The original '18~19 AV firmware was very buggy, especially the early '18's. There's a bulletin for a firmware update, NTB19-067. You can see it here:

It shows how to check your version and determine whether the update applies. If it does, visit the dealer and get it updated.
