I'm a new Rogue owner. I just got me a daily driver which is a 2009 Rogue S AWD this past August. I do have a question regarding the integrated AWD. The AWD push button close to the VDC button only works when on park since the light shows up as "AWD Lock." While on the move, the AWD Lock light does not show up, when pressed. I also noticed that driving it for a few minutes on the freeway on an increased speed (70+), that the AWD Lock disappears. Is this normal? Is it still lock?
On another note, I never see the AWD light (the one above the AWD Lock and the VDC light) that I see before start-up. Is that supposed to light up too or it just lights up then disappears just like the check engine light or the airbag light? Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.
I'm also a 300zx owner, so I'm mostly in that forum, and also a previous 200sx owner for 12 years.
