ok i order a set of new rod bolts and as with all rods that are not guided (guide pin) when u install new rod bolts u have to check to make sure the big end is still round and circular. well my question is since if there are not still round they will probably need to be honed to be round, so.

does it usually affect the rod clearances as i already have my bearings and was wondering if i might need a new set, or is the amount removed to fix it to minute to mess up the bearing clearances.

The big end shouldn't have had any change in it's shape unless you've spun the bearing in the rod.

All of the rod caps are marked so that if you match them up with the corresponding rod, and it's rotation on that rod, everything should be fine.

well ive been told by removing the factory bolts and installing new ones they dont always make the cap bolt up the same so it can become out of round.

i dunno from experience i just hope i dont have to get new bearings for the rods.. i guess well see when i have the machine shop install the bolts asnd check the rods.

If the bolts are pressed out and in there should be no trouble. You would not easily be able to tell, the bore is not even, it gets large towards the sides where the rod and cap meet.

Float, I wonder what your sig means, don't hate.

LOL, I wondered how long it would take you to notice that.
