just took off the tints 2 mos. ago, so probably not... smoked lights / corners? maybe i should, since i already have black grills.. i think i'll leave it as it is... keep it simple

Looks good dude... You should black out the corner lamps and get some tint. Even if just 50% if you dont like it too much. Though I think cali is 70 in the front, 30 rear.Either way, the car looks fresh

$1000 plus my 18's... i should mention that they are "new rims" for my car but they are used... tires have 95% left on them

With the black wheels I'd go with dark tinted corner lights instead of smoked.

I'm on the fence with this one...black cars look best with black rims IMO.

I think it looks pretty damn good, but still needs something to offset the wheels from the tires. I like a paint-matched colored lip on the outer edge of the wheels. It looks delicious.

Why do we spend money on go-fast mods, only to install 30lb rims?

with that, why do people hate the Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires when they are 5 to 7 lbs lighter than the next closest competing tire?

I know! I know!

Because we associate "Eagle" with Jeeps!!! I no self-respecting performance, ebay/autozone tuner would be caught dead in a Jeep

Yeah, I guess having super light weight rims (analogous to having top of the line clubs) and still being slow would make the driver look bad

Mainly because they have the wear characteristics of Play-Doh. RS-A's came stock on my 03 coupe. The rear tires were bald in the center by 14K and the fronts by 18K as I couldn't take an off ramp at moderate speed without the VDC kicking in. I don't drive hard and no track time. I also worked for Goodyear for 5 years selling tires so I am careful about taking care of my cars and my tires. I replaced them with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (not the pluses)and got 25K on the rears and the fronts wer still on the car when I traded at 45KNow for all of you who think I am to harsh about the rims. I have consistently stated on other threads my dislike for black rims. I want my rims to pop! Half the time(ie after sunset) you may just as well be driving on 4 black holes. Even on a sunny day from a distance all you are going to see is wheel well with no style apparent. I get no thrill from what I can't see.

And, I didn't like the RS-A's(sedan) because the wore out too soon!!!!!Otherwise, I thought they performed fine in both wet/dry.However, my Avids(sedan) are wearing much better.

maybe you guys didnt have proper inflation... Anyway the RSA tires on my G are great for me. After 10,000 miles of very spirited driving, the wear is very even and the tires are quiet, absord impacts well, and have good dry traction. Wet traction isn't very good, but Everything else, even snow has been great.
