new rims need new tires..... stretch

hey guys my buddy has an s14 with rb motoring 17x9s and hes running a 235 tire and i like the way its stretched ... if im running an 8.5 in the front and a 9.5 in the rear would it be safe to assume that a 225 in the front and a 245 in the rear would stretch to achieve the same look ?
