this is Maxxi-m by konig Gloss black w/full machine face18x8here is the story[not really good at telling but try my best]

ever since the weather become hotter ,here on the cape cod people will start busyesp like me so in the winter pretty much no work at all ,my boss cut my hours and s*** ,now summer comes in he make me work everyday no off so i got no time for modding my baby/that why i decided to go to townfair [suck i know] and bought my package in 2days,dropped ride off and then this is the result ,honestly i m pissed do my wheels look small? my saleman said 225/45R18 but it came out 225/40R18 its that much different ?they should get it right u know.coz i use wheel calculator, its said just the side wall 4.0'' and mine is 3.5'' so hopefully not much [what do u guys think?]so next week i will do eibach-ing do i need spacer for my wheels?, i have faith in u guys plz lemme knowwhich one i should get

whats your offset? if its somewhere in the 40's you will probably want spacer to look flush, thats if you want it to look flush. The 45 and 40 profiles wont make a difference. I would stay with 225/40 because it doesnt make the tires look fat and going 45 or 40, its the fact your wheels are 18s which makes it look smaller. You should have went with 19s at best

Lower it and go with a 235 or 245 size tire. The extra meat on the tire will soften the ride and fill the gap.

thanks manya mine is offest 45mmi know i shouldve gone with 19'' but they dont have many options thats why i gone with 18''[like those spokes] here where i checked

ya man i will i think thats what i needi already checked the factory specs/ i can go 235 but 245 gonna cost me more gas money right?coz now i got good mpg i think ,felt light though ,idk

umm, well if you want the speedometer and the odometer to remain the most correct, 225/45 is what you need. same with a wider tire. if you wanted less sidewall, you should have gotten bigger wheels. personally, I'd go back and tell him to put the right tires on my car, whether you want 225 or 245 width is up to you... and then drop it and get some spacers to get them more flush.

Did the "salesman" adjust the price to reflect the price difference in the tires? It looks like 225/40's are a good bit cheaper than 225/45's.

here is the final result just got it installed today and it looks a lot better [coz i like] 235/45 ZR18[factory specs]long story short went back to townfair, they give 30days return policy so i talked to another saleman with a knowledge which i got from this forum ,paid 300$ extra and boom!!! [happy camper now] oh ya gotta admit thoughhankook way better than nexen

Glad that things work out for you. Is your car lowered already?I have the same size of wheels and tires.
