So I decided to go ahead and splurg on some new rims. They are on order but will not be in until mid September. Went with the 20"s in chrome for obvious reasons, might have to get some springs to drop ol girls stance a bit.

What do ya guys think?

wheels look nice, not my style but to each their own...I would have to see themon ur M to really get a good idea of how they look....one thing I dont like is how the spokes curve out to the lip, I like a flat faced wheel with a deep lip on the new body m's....my exe wheels have a 5.5' lip in the rear and it looks awesome.....did you stagger the setup?

If you did, run a 265 35 20 instead of the 270 30 20 they recommend, the 265 sits flush with the fender and gives it a real beefy look, plus you get a little more sidewall and dont feel every bump in the road.....hope they look good and if you like them, thats all that matters....lorenzo is a great brand especially the forged multi piece collection they offer.

The spokes do not sit flush they go straight down, like striz said it is the reflection. Look at the picture again and you will probably see the lip and the reflection

I went with the 20x8.5 in front and 20x10 in rear. Staggered up a bit. The fronts have a 2 inch lip and rears are a 5 inch if im not mistaking.

Here is a better picture

Thanks Drips. The whole package ended up costing me just under $2k. Thats with a pretty decent hook up and the warranties on the tires. Pretty sure this would normally be around a $2500 bill normally.

I went with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's, 245/35 in the front and 265/35 in the rear. Some people don't like Kumho as they associate them as cheaper tires, I have had no problems with them and I have been running them on sport rims for 7+ years. Always been a great tire for me.

As for the lugs, I will get some nice chrome ones that look good. I don't mind them showing as it gives it a bit more of an aggressive look in my mind.

Please make sure that the load index on those specific tire widths is 95 or higher ...

I'll probably leave the Lorenzo ones on. Unless I just don't like the way they look. They are coming in black and my car is black so it should look pretty decent. We will see!

Niiiiiiiiiiice, Boon! That is going to look good.

I just put my S-Tech TEIN springs on from the earlier group buy. They look just okay with the factory chromed 18's, but would look devastating with 20's. I just don't have the heart to do it... I tore my old 5-series BMW suspension apart with the heavy 20's I had on it. I wouldn't dare do that to my M.Do you know how much each rim weighs? The factory chromed M45 wheels are nearly 26Lbs a piece! If I could get a decent 20" rim weighing less than that, I would consider it.

Congrats on the purchase. I can't wait to see pictures
