New rims coming for my J

I just ordered a set of 17x8 TSW Lagunas w/235-45's. They should be here in a week or so. I'll try to get some pictures up when I get them put on.

Disabled the Hicas yet?

No Hicas on the t from 95 on. I thought I had it when I first got my car (2002) but after a little research on it I found out that Nissan quit putting the Hicas on the J in 94. I've heard of some 94 t's that have it and some that don't so I don't know if it was a mid-year thing or what.

I was considering getting those. I really like a lot of the TSW rims. It came down to the Laguna and the Nagaro. I went with the Laguna because it hides a little more of the view behind the rim and has a little more lip.If I had a 350z, I would have probably went with the Nagaro to show off my braking system.

Whell these fitments have been great up untill a week ago.These rims were on a differen Z at the stealer-ship were I got the car. I had them put on the car & thats when I made my buying desion.The right rear tier was not balanced out properly.It caused the inside rim of the tier to become defective atfer only 11,000 miles. And it started to go flat on me.

So make sure that your tiers and rims get a good going over.They look geat the Toyo tiers are fantactic but make sure that they are spot on. So you dont run into the problem I had. Keep me up dated on how you make out.
