New rims and eibach drop!!

Hey fellow Nico'ers:

Just got my rims from wheelfire yesterday, they are 20x8.5 Avenue A 602 Machine Black & 225/35/20 Nankangs NSII. I'm dropped on eibachs thanks to the hookup and install by Vincent Aka "Loop" oh btw they're iPhone pics so sorry for the not so great quality. I'll take better pics when I have more time.

Thanks!!!!! But guess what just today, one day after installing them, I get pulled over by a douchy cop on a motorcycle for having dark "window tints"! Racial profiling or just my rims attrack too much attention? I dunno but I was pissed, still am actually!

I'm not really sure, but he said I couldn't have any part of the front windows tinted. He said "I don't know if you're on the phone, wearing a seatbelt or have a gun!" I think it's no more than 35% tints in the front and as dark as I want the back...

in Cali it's illegal to have any tint in the front window and as dark as you want in the back, but people still do it anyways sorry to hear about your fix it ticket. nice car btw

not my taste but not bad. no offense but if a cop saw a car like ours with big "blingish" wheels with a tint he would probably assume a shady person was driving it. comes with the territory unfortunately

Yeah I was trying for more of a sporty look but came out more blingy, thought it would look like the xxr 006 with the lip but oh well....

You guys think maybe painting them all gloss black would look less "blingy" or attrack less attention? Or how about wrapping them in matte black vynil? Or painting the matte black?

i dont think all black will look good on them, those kind of rims need contrast. I'd say matt black with a brushed aluminium/chromish lip?

Matte black for sure would look better. I have 35 tint in front 5 in rear. Haven't been pulled over. Hopefully I don't jynx myself :|
