I'm not sure when that sensor became standard on all Q's. On the 90 model only CA Q's had it. Federal Q's came with a very short bolt plugging the hole.BlackBirdVQ wrote:...she fired up without any problem but I am missing the stupid EGR Temp sensor, no check engine ligth or any lights are on the dashboard.
Looks very nice!BlackBirdVQ wrote:Wheels are 18x8.5 HP EVOs with some cheezy Nankang tires, I got the wheels for a VERY VERY good price with these tires and I simply can not complain. Tires are too small for the rims but I will address that with a fresh set of skins this coming month.
I will have to hook up the Consult this week to it to see if I have any codes for the EGR Temps sensor. I put a bolt in the port where the sensor sits to plug up the vacuum leak. Somehow the dude who was polishing the intake lost my EGR sensor... I know on Sentra SE-Rs, only Cali spec cars had the EGR temp sensor, and the ECU was programed for it. If you used a cali ECU in the car you would get a code for the temp sensor. This is btw B13 SE-Rs. I am not sure if the ECU needs this on my car or not, but we will see.Q451990 wrote:I'm not sure when that sensor became standard on all Q's. On the 90 model only CA Q's had it. So... depending on the ECU that you're running you may not get the check engine light.
That looks sweet!!!

Definitely need to install the Cali Customs.BlackBirdVQ wrote:Since the engine is up and runing, I will concentrate on my SPL suspension install. I have quite a bit of work to do on the suspension as alot of bushings are worn out, but I did manage to get EVERY possible suspenion part off a Z32 that would fit the G50, plus Cal Customs with Tokico Blues.... After that- big brakes here I come
I also have your STB to install ! You should see the stack pile of parts I have laying around in my room, all kinds of suspension components, fluids (all Redline), stereo equipment for the Q etc.Jeff Williams wrote:Definitely need to install the Cali Customs.
The car looks great! What kind of tips are those?

Love what you've done with your car. You have a lot of love for it...it shows.BlackBirdVQ wrote:..... I tell everyone that I HATE all the new cars, and love the way 90s Nissans looked. I always wanted a Q45 even when I was a teenager and got my 1st car- a Sentra SE-R back in the mid 90s. I love my Maxima, Q45 and the Legend equally, but the Legend is not to be tampered with and my fiancee drives it.lino wrote:Love what you've done with your car. What suspension parts from the Z32 do you have for your G50?
What big brake kit are you planning on using?
I think its because of the caulked seam thats right there... If you look you can see where the 2 body pieces come together.louiegz wrote:What you've done to the engine is A++. Very good job. Are you starting to get rust under the rear passenger door? It looks like it in one of the pics. I'm getting it too. I wonder why that's a problem spot. Oh, the rims are very nice too.
Damn it looks really good, much tidier now that it's lowered! I've always loved that color.BlackBirdVQ wrote:Yeah its lowered, but pictures are very crappy - camera phone. I shall have some nice shots today. Will gonna need to resize em as they will be 2-3MB sized pictures.
