Yes it is in pretty good shape. It was repainted from the original pale yellow (imo a bad color for a 'sports' car) to the red seen here. There are quite a few newish parts. It needs enough work to be interesting, but not so much that it is frustrating. A rolling restoration if you will. It is very interesting to see differences between old and new cars. As an example, the windshield washer fluid is held in a vinyl bag that hangs from 2 hooks inside the fender- a bag -?! It's weird, the fluid pump is inside the bag too. He got a service manual with it too, oh the translations are so bad, it's so confusing.510s are pretty killer, he was in the market for a 510, Triumph TR6 or TR4, Alfa Romeo GTV, or chrome bumper MGB. It takes a long time to find a classic car, you have to weed though a lot of over priced jacked-up crap. I think he got a good one though.
