Hi! I’m new here. I’m looking to get into a new set of wheels because these are pretty torn up, scraped and one is actually structurally damaged and leaking air. :(

But besides that this car is SIIIIIIICK. A real head turner.

From what I can tell about the car.

If you have any obvious suggestions please let me know! Thanks and happy to be here.

Very nice! That aero kit is begging for a drop.

When requesting wheel suggestions, I always recommend that you provide a target budget. My personal suggestions, without a budget in mind, can range from $250 each up to $2500 each wheel.

I have a set of 20" Work wheels that would suit your ride nicely :)

Great thanks! Im in the price range of $500-700 a wheel. Im currently looking at the Vossen VSF-1 wheel. Prolly a 20x9 and a 20x10.5. My issue now is my wheels up front are currently using a spacer and i want to get away from spacers and get a wheel that fits properly. Thanks!!

Soooo I saw this today and thought this was odd. I also here a slight whine from the power steering and that’s what led me to this. Is this normal??

Yes, it is normal for the power steering fluid to spin like that, but yours appears to be spinning more than usual. Of course that's a subjective observation, not a professional assessment. Since you mentioned a whining noise, best to check the fluid level. The outside of the reservoir has markings to visually see if the fluid is at the proper level. I also recommend changing the fluid. I change my own with a siphon pump that you can get from places like parts stores or Ebay, etc.

Here is a video that walks you through it. Chris uses a turkey baster, but the mouth on my reservoir is too small to use a baster. I don't raise the car like he does.

Also be sure to use Nissan power steering fluid which you can get from Ebay, etc.

Power steering fluid, like any other car fluid deteriorates and accumulates water over the years, making it less effective and it needs to be replaced. If you ask 10 different experts how often to replace? You will get 10 different answers. I do mine when I determine that the fluid is noticeably thinner and looks dirty - maybe every 3 years.
