Well the old Maxima was on its last legs, but it got me just far enough to land on this little gem:

2006 Infiniti G35 6MT. 78xxx miles. 100% stock. Only real issues are the front Nitto Invo tires which make a God awful racket at anything above 50, the rear brakes which will need to be changed within a few thousand miles, and at least one of the TPM sensors is bad. All in all, no contest the best car I've ever owned, and I'm really enjoying it. :dblthumb:

Nice, I always liked the g35. I was going to buy one a few years back but I decided to stick with my 240. Then I bought a truck and now I want a bike. Maybe I'll get one in the future to DD

Congrats and good score! Will that dealer fix the TPMS issue before selling it to you, or was that a haggling point?

As for the TPMs, I didn't even feel like dealing with it at the dealership, I needed the car in a hurry. And with working at an Infiniti dealership myself I can get it taken care of fairly easily. Personally I like black more as well, but I couldn't pass this up. I haven't found another 06 6MT with this low of miles for what I paid for it ANYWHERE, much less right in my back yard. The silver looks much better in person than it does in pictures anyway, and the light colored interior is also growing on me. On a side note, I paired my phone to the car's Bluetooth this morning to try to play music through the car's stereo, but it appears the Bluetooth only works for calls. Does anyone know for sure? I'll ask in the G35 forum too later but there isn't as much traffic over there.

Love the look of the G coupe. It's a modern classic IMO.

Nice! I really enjoyed my '07 G35 6MT Coupe, I was bummed I had to sell it, but it had to be done. If you do exhaust work on it, don't ever "not run cats" if you stick to N/A. Running test pipes ruin the exhaust note, get some nice aftermarket cats or stick to stock. A good quality cat back makes these sound amazing! Very nice acquisition, you'll enjoy it for sure!

Thanks for all the props and advice. I'll look into the grom unit, but for $150 I might just use the radio for a couple of months though lol, Springfield radio isn't that bad and I still have to pay the taxes and title this thing. That pretty much goes for all modifications for at least a couple of months. I'm perfectly happy with the way it is right now, but eventually I will probably throw a few subtle things at it. Intake/plenum spacer, exhaust, maybe some springs and struts, although I like the way it rides now, and any firmer would be too much. It already handles so well I really don't want to throw off the balance with a bunch of aftermarket parts just for the sake of looks. I do want some wider tires though. I'm from the school of thought that you put as much rubber as possible on the road, and a 245 will fit perfectly fine on the G's front 8" wide rim, with maybe a 255-265 on the rear. No real plans for turbo/supercharging or anything crazy, it'll be a dd/backroad barnstormer for the foreseeable future. I've really been wanting to get it all polished up and take a few more pics, but its supposed to rain for the next week straight down here so I guess that'll have to wait.
