Just a while ago, I read an article connected with this issue which was entitled "Nissan announces recall of Sentra and Juke". It stated there that recalls have been announced by Nissan for two different cars. The Sentra and the Juke are impacted by the recall, but the problems are not related. The former recall is the zinc coating on the battery terminal stud on the positive terminal whilst the latter issue involved recall concerns on the turbocharger.

In both recalls, Nissan is going to notify owners in January. In case of the Sentra, Nissan will replace the terminal and battery cover at no cost. Moreover, Nissan will also perform any necessary repairs on the Juke to correct the turbocharger issue.

I just received a letter from Nissan on an extension of my warranty on the door locks. They stated that there has been an issue with the door locks freezing and making it hard to open and shut the door and extended the warranty to 72 months/72000 miles just for the door locks. I received this on the 25 or 26th.

I just bought a 2011 Juke SL and was wondering if the recall is still in effect and if I should have it looked at.
