new rb25 maf question

Hey everyone I decided to jump onto the rb bandwagon and ordered one. I am totally psyched on this swap but what I noticed upon receiving it was I was told it would ve a series 1 rb25 but the ecu is for a series 2 and there is no ignitor leading me to think it is either a series 2 or a series 1 converted to series 2 electronics but with all this said it came with an green labeled maf and to my understanding this is a series 1 maf. So my main question is will a series 1 maf work with a series 2 ecu?
