Finally got my s14 on the road. Having a problem with bouncing idle, but hoping the HKS SAFR will fix that when hooked up. Im running 3 inch straight pipe, MINES ecu, HKS SSQ bov, manual boost controller. I Have not hooked up my boost gauge yet, where would be the best place for the line?

Thanks

Make sure the throttle sensor has the wires hooked up (both plugs) and that it is adjusted properly...the two wires that come out of the one plug on the end of it should have continuity when the throttle is closed and no continuity after you crack the throttle open; if not you have to take it apart and adjust the inner terminals so it does.

Blah, that was probably a wasted bit of info, but it was the reason my car wouldn't idle right.

Another reason for revving idle is the iac being dirty.

Why not run the line off the back of the intake mani where NISSAN does it from? Near the brake booster hookup...

I have heard many different things about the idle. 1. if you have an aftermarket BOV and the released air doesnt feed back into the intake 2. The coil 3. the HKS SSQ does something to the fuel mixutre and can be fixed with an AFR
