new radio no power

Got the car without a radio. Picked up a pretty nice pioneer single din from best buy. have the harness for the factory to aftermarket, did it the right way. but. the radio does not turn on. fuses are good. checked with voltmeter did not get anything. so im guessing its in between the fuse box and radio connector.
any one got any ideas?

Have you verified power at the fuse with a test light?

yea, it was the ground. the ground for the harness wasnt any good i guess. i just grounded it to the shifter bolt. now i gotta replace 4 blown speakers.
