When's a good time to upgrade to a better radiator such as Fluidyne and Koyo? I have basic bolt on's on my SR20 right now, and i'm getting a Spearco FMIC in about a week. Should I get one now? Or i don't really need one yet? I'm boosting at stock psi for now, until i get my Profec E-01 in about a month.

for your setup running at stock psi, if your not beating for long durations at a time, you really dont need it. if you start running more boost and get a larger turbo, you might need it. just keep an eye out on your water temp gauge.

You're never going to have a need for one with a T25.

My car was fine w/ stock rad, clutch fan, shroud, T25 @ 14psi for 4 30minute track sessions at willow springs in 110 degree heat. If it didn't overheat then, it's never going to overheat

If your radiators old BUY A NEW ONE! I was on the superstreet tour 2004 to NOPI Nationals and my radiator developed a crack in the top plastic while I was running about 110 mph I guess its just got to hot since my engine was faily new and running 11.1 to one comp. well it blew out the water overheated and blew my head gasket leaving me about 800 miles from home! not a fun experience, Buy a good radiator! I got a koyo

I meant fairly new, only about 800 miles on it so the rings might have not been seated yet.
