So, a couple months ago, my 240sx hatch crapped out on me, and instead of fixing it for the millionth time, I decided to get rid of it. sold it non running for 1k. Well, yesterday I picked up a 1990 q45 for 850$. Runs beautifully. Pulls like hell on the freeway, and that's just not something I'm used to. Body is straight with only a couple tiny dings in it, paints pretty good. It is missing one of the bbs wheels though. But, for 850, it does have some issues. The steering has some play in it, and I believe it's the steering rack bushings from the research I've done. The rear windows don't roll down, there's a brake line leak somewhere, and the cpu readout says inoperable tailight and brake pads are worn. But the BIGGEST issue that I have with it, is the hvac readouts not working, and I'm not too sure if the system's even working. The guy I bought it from did say it needs to be recharged, which isnt a big deal to me.Does anyone know what the hvac issue might be? I'm troubleshooting it to no avail so far.The q truly is an awesome car!
