Just opened up the September issue of Car and Driver, and I'm impressed by the new Q45 ad. Its on the back cover of the issue. If anyone recalls, the last Q45 ad was crammed in the middle of the magazine, showing the Q in front of a really drab gate on an overcast day that looked like it was photographed in England.
On the left, it said why not be different... but the photo on the right implied "Be different so you can be drab and boring."
On this new ad, the text is brighter, and the Q is in front of what appears to be a five-star hotel on a sunny day in a big city. The text reads "You didnt get where you are now by doing what everyone else did." Gives the new Q some extra upscale appeal.
About time. People dont spend 60k on a new car to just experience the future, they mostly want to snub their neighbors and coworkers. I'll scan the ad if I get a chance.
