Hello,

Just wanted to ask what the difference and the compatabilty with (SAFC vs SAFVC) Actually, i know the difference between the two, but would like to know if i can use the SAFVC for my build and just not use the V-tech feature....

Have a good deal on one from honda buddy =) I would like to purchase it if it works for us/me

New to this forum and will frequent here as my build progress continues. Looking to have a mild set up by October =)

Should work fine, and later on you could probably use the Vtec control options to control something else, like maybe some water injection gizmo.

And welcome to Nico Homey.

Also as a welcome we have a Sticky up top that should be able to help you with your further adventures of boosting your KA.

If you got any more question don't hesitate to ask, just remember try to search it first .

Happy Boosting

Thanks for the response and the welcome. So, I will just pick that safvc and not use the the V-teck feature. (I don't know what water thing you're talking about)

I'm hoping to build this as reliable as possible because it is my daily driveer. Hoping to boost around 7-10 psi...

Sitting in my garage cabinet is as follows:T3/T4-50 trimHKS Blow off valveTial 38mm Waste GateFMIC (small)370 cc Injectors255lph fuel pump

To come will be as follows:Oil LinesSAFC - If deal above falls through Greddy UltimateKoyo Radiator + SS OverflowThreadstone IC pipes + Silicone cuplers / T-ClampsThreadstone Top Mount Manifold + T3 Down Pipe + Dump PipeMSD ignitionGaugesssssss

This should complete the gathering of Turbo parts

And alot of other suspension and brake stuffMy wallet is low =( but for some reason, i would rather spend money like this then buy a boosted car from the factory..

emanage is soo much better then safc b/c it takes control of timing and fuel.. but its alot more involved to use so you shouldh have some expericen..

the safc is user friendly and does a decent job. your setup seems fine for 7psi. good luck

and read teh stickes when your borad..

either safc or enthalpy ECU, I messed around with safc and wideband and ended up going enthalpy, it's great.
