Hi,
From the look of the fan and shroud it looks like a 1990-1993 Infiniti Q45 (VH45DE) engine. Of course the injectors can also lie because someone could have swapped in phase two injectors, Look at them anyways. Another way to tell if its a 1990-1993 (very early 1994) is to look at the power transistors. If they are larger and square as compared to the late 1994-1996 VH45DE's power transistor then you have a 1990-1993 Q45 engine.
Use a clamp to push the dashboard down (Where the clock is) someone left the Instrument cluster trim cover half way off and the ignition may have been pushing up on the instrument cluster trim (Part that houses the vents, clock, hazard and dimmer switch.
Find some 1990 Infiniti Q45 seat controls, You won't know how you lived with out them.
Give that engine a good cleaning!
Get the Infiniti Dealer service history and any other receipts from the previous owner(s). Make sure the chain guides have been done.
Clean the air vents as well because you have roughly 20 year old dust sitting behind there. prepare to spend a couple of days with 500 Q-tips. Q-tips for a Q-Car

.
And of course replace all the fluids (Drain and refill or flush) and replace all the filters when you get a chance.
And if you up for it do some reading over here:

The Valve Covers (VC) are another give away, yours have inspection plates where as 1994-1996 Infiniti Q45 engines (VH45DE's) do not.
Use some Lexol cleaner (Orange bottle) and conditioner (Brown bottle) with a rag, NOT a microfiber cloth to clean the interior leather. Advance Auto has a special on that stuff right now as of 9:39 (EST) Sept. 20, 2010. I love the grey on black interior, I think its one of the best interiors for the Q. I am biased though because my first Q had that interior.
Get a OEM coolant cap.
