Thanks! Its tough because I want to keep it 6 cylinder but I want a more reliable "modern" engine. I could save the vh for another project. Eh who knows...

Yeah i do have a few more pics. Ill post them up later. Im starting to tear into the interior tomorrow and working on the l24 so ill take more pics of my progress. Car audio used to be a hobby of mine and i want to add a dual din dvd player. Ill also have some sort of speaker pods in the back, and possibly fiberglass the inner door to fit my components among other things. Oh and i know ill get flamed but im using a different dash. My dash is one of the worse ive seen. around 10 BIG cracks. So i got my hands on a 2008 sti dash for cheap that i will be installing. I want it to look like it belongs in there.

Oh thats my girl in the window

good luck getting it to fit like its supposed to... even the later s30 chassis dashes take some work.

dash cover is cheap and effective but damn that car is clean for this area... i still got a **** ton of parts left over and im sorta local. browse my links in my sig and see if you need anything

nice girls (car and girl ) and welcome to nico!

wow man super clean color and same color as mine to boot. sounds like your doing alot of interior mod in that car. Personally i think you wouldn't be doing that car any justice by replacing the dash and cutting it up for a big din, but to each his own cool ride man.

Need nude pics of the girl. Er, the Z... that's what I meant... Yes, sand it to the bare metal to check for rust...

Anyway, looks really, really clean man. I'm jealous of the lack of rust on that car. If you go and modify the interior of that car, try to keep it so it can be returned to original. When I go aftermarket for the stereo in my S30, I will be pulling all the stock stuff (including wiring) and storing it intact in case I feel the need to go back to stock.

Cut the dash to fit the car, not the other way around.

Thanks.. No pics of the interior right now. Ill be tearing that apart pretty soon. Its torn up pretty bad and smells like, well it smells. I found some rust on the passenger frame rail so ill have to take care of that. If it wasnt 10 degrees out right now I would be able to get more done.

Change of plans! I recently got "temporarily" laid off so whatever motor swap I had in mind is gone. I decided to keep the l24 in for now. New plan is to get the car running, replace the floor and rails, fix the interior, suspension, brakes, wheels and then bodywork. I started buying parts from some money I had set aside for the swap. I got all the tune up parts, floor, rails, msa headers, twice pipes, and triple webbers i caught at a great deal. The gas tank was crap so I had refurbish it today. Ill put some pics up of it later. The interior is crap so ill have to make some decisions on what to do there. The previous owner hacked up all the wiring. Thanks bud .So its time to get moving. Its going to be spring soon and things should move along well. Wish me luck

if you plan to swap in anything fuel injected at any point it's a good time to swap int he 75 gas tank, the stock tank isn't baffeled and has a tiny pickup tube, it can make driveing very furstrating
