New project: Datsun 510

Well since the guy never gave me the title for my 620 truck i found a 510 wagon with a title. Bought it yesterday for $150. It runs but has no oil presssure and knock in the lower end. Right now it has a Z20 motor but im going to transplant my L20 from the 620 into it. Ill have a few pics up later on tonight.

Sweet. I wish I had the money to start a project like that. I almost bought a beautiful old hardbody the other day, but I didn't have a grand. Such a deal too.

Saddly its an auto, but since i want it for a work car i dont care. Right now im trying to find the key to it since i seem to have lost it last night. And its not the cool looking 70's 510 its the 80's bigger better 510. This poor thing is knocking like hell but still running around the yard under its own power. Gotta love a datsun
