So, development never slows down here at STILLEN. We are going to be releasing a few new parts here soon and I just wanted to let you guys know what is on it's way out...

1) Altima front strut tower brace.

This is constructed out of CNC machined 6061-T6 aircraft quality billet aluminum. Also uses laser cut zinc coated mounting rings. The bar is clear coated for great looks and protection and comes with the STILLEN logo engraved in red.

2) Altima coupe rear corners to finish off the body kit. These should be ready by the end of the week with pictures and pricing. Actually...Pictures might come next week as they'll need to be color matched, but we'll definitely have pricing.

3) 2.5 liter headers. These are nearly finished and I saw our R&D guys working on them again today.

Here is a quick picture of the strut brace...

Hey Guys,

I don't want to say anything negative about a competitor's product. All I can say is that to compare prices you must look at the materials and manufacturing processes involved in building a part.

We are more expensive than Racingline. Their bar is going to go for $119.00, ours is going to be $219.00. But, our bar is CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum. This is the same material used in military aircraft. The mounting rings are precision, CNC, laser cut steel with a silver zinc plating. We acknowledge that we went overboard on this bar but for us, there's no other way to do it.

I don't know what material Racingline is using and I don't know what their manufacturing process is.

i know that this question was asked when the strut bar was originally brought up, but not sure if it was answered: will the strut bar fit over all or most intakes that are available now for our cars?

I'm not going to comment much as this is a Stillen thread and I respect it as such, a big factor is our overheads are ALOT lower. With that said machining a bar the way Stillen does is an expensive process that produces a very unique look. Outside of the costs associated with milling the aluminum, all material and craftsmanship is on par IMO

T6 is extremely high quality. It is a bit overboard but I guess its go big or go home. We use this same alloy in the composite of the planes I work on everyday. With that being said, I've never seen a structure related problem on my aircraft since I've worked on them. Also, this type of aluminum takes very good to milling, so none of the holes or engravings made into this STB effect the rigidity. It will hold tight and look incredible. Another great design from the team at STILLEN

Thank you very much for chiming in on this thread. I hope you did not take my earlier post as negative towards your product. That was not my intention at all. In fact, I think highly of your parts and recommend to all of our customer's that they purchase a set of your sway bar endlinks to compliment our rear sway bar.

As the gentlemen from Racingline pointed out, our bar is CNC machined on both ends which is very time consuming and expensive. However we feel that the weight savings and unique look are well worth the time spent on the machining.

In my opinion, these are both great strut tower braces. Functionally, they will perform very much the same. It really comes down to which bar you like the look of more and which one you want to spend your money on.

Without having actually test fit the bar with numerous different intakes I am going to venture to guess that yes, it will fit with every intake currently available. We have tested the bar on our car with one of our intakes and our design is alot like Injen's or Fujita's.

In regards to the different color options. We are willing to offer these in different colors it's just going to come down to quantities and cost. If we can get 20-25+ people that would like the bar in black we can have them specially powder coated prior to shipping. If we get any less than 20-25 special orders then we can't do it as the cost per part to powder coat is too high. Unless you don't mind waiting. If you don't mind waiting I can arrange for the strut bar to go to the powdercoaters in a batch of something else.

You smell your own BO from lack of bathing!

Stillen knows theres interest, if they decide to offer a GB, its their choice...Based on all the other products they have brought to the AC community, they are well aware that some of us are discount driven... ($25, no way... $24.98? Where do i send my money!)

I wonder if they will be done in time to get one installed before the Z's arrival on 12/13!
