New Problems arise on my 240 need some input

Ok i have been having some trouble with my 240. i think i narrowed the problems down useing the search function but now i just need some input. 89 sohc1st problem:my car when i rev it up above 2500 rpms it starts to make this real weird ting ting ting nosie. sounds like a piston knocking but i know it is not cause it is only above 2500 rpms. so i took off my valve cover and my timing chain was really lose. so i take a flash light and look down inside. on the drivers side of the timing chain guide or tensoner either or i dont know what it is, is not on the chain its sitting lose and floping around. how do i fix this?

2nd problem:my clutch is making a chattering nosie when it is drepressed. when i press it all the way down it slowly stops making the noise. seems like the plate might be rubbing agaist the flywheel???? need some input.
