last night i was driving and my car just died. i pulled over and tried to start but wouldn't. it cranked fine and when i push down the gas while trying to start it, it gets to the point that you think its going to start but never does. so i stop trying to start it and then try again etc. then it starts i take off and it dies. same thing i try and try to start it, no good. finally it starts again but when i take off the car puttsdown the road so i eased off the gas and started driving fine but everytime i push the gas it starts putting again. got to a safe place to store my car but now again it doesn't start. friends ask me if it was my gas. which i think it can't be i had a half tank and i always get 91 octane from shell (which is suppose to be the cleanest gas. i think it my fuelpump. what do you guys think. thanks

my poor car is sick.1991 240sx s13

could be the fuel pump. try replacing the fuel filter first. it's easier to get to and it can choke a system down. also, check the fuse for the pump. it's located on the left hand side of the bay in the fuse box. it could be that the fuse is blown. also, are your interior lights working fine? i'm just curious if it's a battery issue or not. i doubt it from the sound of things, but just curious

the walbro will be able to supply more fuel but u dont need it since ur running stock injectors and no fmu. so really a stock fuel pump will be fine for u. i have 2 out of s14's if ur interested
