I kicked the bolt loose, but as i took the diff apart and will mount the ringgear on the new LSD i could see that the bolts dosent fit, the bolt is to thick in that end where you put you wrench on so it could not come thrue the holes on the LSD...

i have ordret LSD for S14 SAN2635,should fit s13 and s14 with factory LSD, but what do they meen with factory LSD? *** i opend my LSD i could se that mys LSD not was std i think, take a look-->http://images.bilgalleri.dk/uploads_alb ... 9343_s.jpg

http://images.bilgalleri.dk/up...l.jpg

and whats the diffrence between the KAAZ san2635 for s13/s14 and the san2745 can i go get some new bolts that fit or should i send it back, i live in denmark and the LSD is bought in england

should say that the box where the LSD was in says DBN2625 and thats fit :

I know they sell Nismo bolts for the ring gears, I dont know if they are different or not, but it may be your option. Your pics are packed full of fail so I cant see.

I have you have a press, micrometer, and possible shims needed for it. You should also replace the oil seals.

here is the LSD, i think that it is a cusco, but how do i make the LSD 60% instead of100%

can it be because of that it is a cusco LSD the bolt are a bit bigger or do i have get the wrong LSD...

only thinking of the damn number: DBN2625 instead of san2636

Sounds like you have a 2 way. I can see the clutch plates so it is a clutch type, not sure of the brand. Unless you know the brand and rebuild the guts you cant change the locking properties of that.

A VLSD you can shim tighter but not a clutch type.

What do you mean bigger? Do you mean the bolts holding on the ring gear or the diff itself?

Have you tried to press it in?

What type of diff case are you putting this into? (R200 - or R200V) . The DBN2625 is for a R200V (VLSD, should have a speed sensor mounted right at the input shaft by the pinion seal). That will not fit a R200 open end diff.

i think that the lsd i have in looks like the cusco, and that think you can adjust for 2 ways or 1.5ways....

but dont know how, it should be done by change the plates is numbers, dont have a writeup...

i meen the hole of that lsd that was installt to my diff has a bit bigger holes, and the kaaz have a bit smaller holes so that i only can get the threaded in but not the holt bolt

when i took the diff down i only disconnectet a wire where the diff was mountet in the back...

and why will that think not fit, how can i see what case i have, i also have ordered the LSD for an S14 not an S14a... but anyways is seems not to fit anywhere when im looking at kaaz-sports... the DBN2625 only fits skyline and s13

Sounds like you need different ring gear bolts. As far as making it a 1.5 way, sounds like a nightmare, I wouldn't wake it apart and remove plates.

Hey man, a question. You car's factory diff is a viscous LSD? Does it bear an orange label saying so?

The Kaaz diff you ordered is to be used as replacement of a VLSD so, if you have an open diff, the ring gear may not fit correctly as it was designed to be assembled to the VLSD.

dont know if it is a VLSD, how do i find out, i does not have a open diff in as i open the case, because there was mounted a cusco ( think that it is a cusco) but is the somehow i can tjek if it is a 200 or 200viscous housing on the numbers on the housing??!?!?

here is a picture ( dont think it will help by here it is anyway)

Ah, i understand.Yes... it seems to be a Cusco:

Well, you should look at ***** and check if there is any serial or model number on it so you could know what the original stock diff was.

We have 2 options now: bolts are stock but made for another differential kind or bolts are also from cusco.

okay.. but it seems to be a cusco LSD and the cusco LSD can be convertet from a 2 wyas to a 1.5 ways, but how ( i dont want the kaaz if i can keep the cusco on 1.5way)

here on the picture it seems to be that my cusco is in "2way mode" because the metal thing is ind that square

http://www.bilgalleri.dk/html/...36898

but there where i seems to be the 1.5way option there is no metal thing, so i schould could be switch into 1.5 way

http://images.bilgalleri.dk/up...l.jpg

on a nother HP i found this:...#The Cusco is also adjustable from 1.5 way to 2 way by repositioning the cam inside the diff...its not a hard job to do#....

LOL

Your mistake was obvious. You have an open differential case on your car, and what you bought was for a EU, AUS or JDM VLSD.
