So my parents decided to buy a new Carrera GT :D

NOT

But we did pickup a nice '01 Boxster. I dont really know why we bought it, but we did...

Backwheel

I wish I had a picture of that garage spot yesterday... I cleaned out all kinds of **** and ****...

31,xxx Miles, Seal Grey, Grey leather interior. 5-speed :ylsuper (its *for* my mother, so I'm kind of surprised, but very happy there)

I can't wait to drive it :) I think maybe this weekend I wil be able to. We drove home from Arlington, other than the problem below, it rides real nice.

Already we have a problem though, at low-medium speeds the front suspension whines / rubs when turning. I'm not really sure what the deal is, but the owner of the dealership we bought it from is brining someone over tonight to figure it out. Nothing major, but annoying that we have a problem.

Did you know the Recommended oil change interval for this car is 15,000 Miles?? That means that this car may have only had 3 oil changes in its life. Scary...

If I could PM you, I would, but ...

My post was agaisnt forum rules... thats why.

Heres why I say three times:

1. In early life it may have been changed, and oil was certainly added2. 15k3. 30k4. THe dealer changed it at 32k

:o Ya, it has about 33k instead of 31k

I admit, if my parents bought one of those, I'd post pics too. Looks real good!

Very cool, LTJJ. Nice looking ride. Nothing better than borrowing dad's sports car and informing him you noticed a slightly shimmy at 110 mph... in 3rd Gear.

The dealership came on Saturday and picked up the Boxster to get it repaired. They left a Mercedes E320 behind. Should have the Boxster by Monday or Tuesday, I hope.

Here are some pics:

Get a picture of you burning the tires to pieces in the Benz and send it in to SCC. I guarantee you will get printed :D
