My dad put down a deposit on one about 2 months ago. It's going to be another 3 at least before he even gets his hands on it. I was hopeing to have a chance to beat the crap out of it when I go home for Christmas, but I guess that will have to wait.

BTW his is a silver 6spd w/ black leather

pretty neat cars, I don't care too much for the styling, but hey, it's got a gob of power!

I hope we get the 427 CI version that they have of them in Australia, as well as bunch of other cars they have there.

damn you emissions!!

I agree about the styling. I think the Holden Monaro looks much nicer, and was desperately hoping that the styling of the new GTO would be a bit more aggressive. There's a fine line between aggressive and tacky, so I suppose it's better that the car fell more on the "bland" side of things.

Edit: Am I the only one who would pay good money for a car that a) has a ton of power AND b) looks like it could eat small children?

No you are not the only one. I love the new GTO's. I think they look like Grand Prix's personally....but I like it. Its definately not ugly by any means, and power power power. I like the interior styling as well.

That GTO is going to post some big gains from a straight through exhaust. I mean look at the site! They have two cats, resonators and mufflers; when someone makes an exhaust that clears all that out, it should sound REAL mean, even more so.
