New Police checkpoints, watch out!

I live in Southern Cali and I just recently heard about the cops doing random smog testing on the street! My friend got pulled over and they did a random smog test on him in a quick 5 minutes, he passed (non-SR) and gave me the heads up so I wouldn't get busted. They were doing it for a week straight in the city of Corona, on River Road and Lincoln street. Is this a new thing? I have never heard of this until this pass week. Man, if they keep doin' these random tests, WE are screwed. Anyway, if I see or hear about any of these I'll post.

yea, your right. I'm just really concerned because getting caught with a motor swap in so. cali is like commiting first degree murder! I hope the cops can keep up with my boost in the canyons.. lol

No kidding if they spent have the time trying to help people and busting drug dealers than screwing with people and what motor or how loud there exhaust is they would have a better state (know wander y they are going bank rupt )

i live in so cal too.i have actually heard rumors of "sniffer" things on like freeway on ramps that test your emissions as you pass by, and if they are high, it takes a pic of your car.

im not sure i believe that, but it would realllly suck if it was true haha
