I know this has been asked before, but I am adding a twist so that it's not a repost.

I have about 12K on my Denso Iridiums and I think it's time to change them. I have a couple race days and I'd like to do a tune up before I go. Now here is the problem. I can't afford 50 bucks for new spark plugs again as I have been laid off and out of work.

What spark plugs can/should I get? I'm running 0.5BAR, FMIC, stock turbo, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, stock ECU, stock injectors. I know to get them from a B13, but if I just waltz into AutoZone can I get spark plugs that will work well?

Next up, o2 sensor. I am still using the o2 sensor that came with my motorset and I am questioning it's working condition. Same question, can I just waltz into AutoZone and get an o2 sensor from an 87 Z31T and have no problems (except for rewiring the plug of course)?

In reality, I just don't have the money for good aftermarket or Nissan OEM parts.

Couple more questions:

Given my current setup, what gap specs should i set the plugs to?

Does AutoZone carry Seafoam? Kragen? Napa? Pep Boys?

WRT o2 sensor - The turbo Nissan plug wires right up where your old o2 sensor used to.

Plugs - There's a post of mine about a page down "Spark scatters at high RPM" or something like that. Tai Mai Shu suggested some copper NGK plugs that go for $7.00 a set, gapped at 0.28. I haven't had a chance to check out the plugs myself, as the car seems to be running fine for right now.

My o2 sensor was jacked up too. It turns out that my engine had been running open loop.

Edit: You could also use the universal Bosch o2 sensor.

I've only found Seafoam at Napa in my area. At every other place I either get blank looks and/or directions to the nearest marine supply store (which might carry it...who knows?).

Don't cut the plug on the O2 sensors... take a few minutes and remove the pins... it's WAY more sanitary.

On plugs... I use NGK 'R' plugs from a 300ZXTT with no problems...
