It snowed like a ****** here in Boston. While I was shoveling the Q and my sentra out of the snow, I decided to take some pics during the day to try to see if I can capture the true color and brightness of the HID's. The nighttime pics I took didn't do justice to the lights.

Again, these pics fall short as well but it shows the difference between the foglights and the headlights. I took some pictures during the day and also some at dusk.

BTW...the Q rules in the snow. Even with 2 feet of snow, I still haven't gotten stuck. I actually had an easier time getting out of the spot than my neighbor who has the Silver Accord with all season tires.Click here for pics

Wow, those look really cool..... And just for clarification, do you have HID high beams also? They look about the same as if you had silverstars.... hmmm

Do you run snow tires on your Q?

Silverstars don't hold a candle to these lights. I have silverstars in my Sentra. Currently in my sentra, I have one silverstar bulb and one nokya bulb. The nokya is much whiter but the silverstar is much brighter.

The high beams are just the stock highbeams...but the HID's don't stay on with the highbeams.

I have Pirelli Wintersport 210's. Just got them from tirerack. They got very good ratings from consumer reports.

BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I got cold, just looking at the pictures.

Love the HID's Do you get people flashing their lights at you, thinking you have the high beams on?

I bought Plasma Glow bulbs for my low, high, and fog lights. (Not the ION Blue) I like them, because the light is less harsh on me at night, and i do 75% of my driving at night. The color is very white (although the bulbs are blue in color). You can tell I have them in, in my pics below. I doubt they are as good as the Silverstars, but they are a lot cheaper (eBay). I started using them on my Honda's and decided to put them in the Q, last year. They pick up deer eyes much better than the stock lights. This is important, on my roads. I see construction signs, and road signs nearly a half mile ahead.

The only problem, is I get a lot of people flashing their lights at me.

The '94 burns both the low and highs, and just turns the fogs off, when you switch to high beams. This usually blinds everyone within a 1/2 mile.

I like the HID's in the I30t, but don't have the extra $$ to spend on the Q lights.

It looks like the ones you have would be a doable upgrade.

Noone has flashed me so far. There is not much glare to oncoming traffic. I had my wife drive behind me with the Q and it looks awesome. Looks OEM.

Looks nice and it looks very cold and snowy. I'd saw we folks down here in Indy got lucky. That storm just dumped some rain us.

People are always flashing their lights at me and I just have the stock lights that came with the G. I always flash back though. They think that my lights are bright now, well just wait till they see the ultimate power of my lights.
