My favorite parts of the D40 Frontier is the tight coilover front suspension, the tight rack and pinion steering, and the VQ engine (QR25DE is also good IMO). My least favorite parts are the fact that its bigger than a Hardbody, and the front bumper. Still a pimp truck though. Check out http://www.nissanoffroad.net for some really badass D40's.
