I used a translucent automotive paint with no base coat or primer. I then put in the LED bulbs you can buy at autozone. You can see them light up even with direct sunlight on the tailights.

Thanks guys, the car dynoed at a very conservative 400 whp with 18 psi of boost at 7000 rpm (intercooler pipe blew off, we figure it'll hit 450 whp with a little more boost and revs). It's also for sale!

how much are you asking for it?

I wish I had a coupe like that.....

In fact, if I didn't still owe a lot on my Kouki, I'd probably have traded it for a coupe like that a long time ago, lol.

clean *** coupe, the engine bay is perfect. i love the unorthodox racing parital cover, is it homemade or did you buy it?? just out of curiousity, why is the vacume line from the charge pipe to the boost control off??

HashiriyaS14, I'm asking $9950.

srpowered240sx, I made the cover (roll call area, I didn't want any stickers on my car), it hides the coolant resevoir and wires nicely. The manual boost controller was used at the dyno, I was having a problem with my greddy profec B (since then I have figured it out, but haven't removed the manual boost controller).

You can use testors model paint (almost all translucent) from a hobby store if you are going to be doing this at home. Be sure to purchase plenty of wet sanding paper (2000 grit), compound, and polish.

I'm not even a real big coupe fan but I almost got a hard-on from those pics. A very clean car indeed.

The front bumper is a VIS 180sx front with the driving lights shaved out.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys!

It's for sale if your interested, or a trade plus cash (as long as yours is in good condition mechanics and body wise).

Damn, thats a nice car man. If my hatch looked that clean, I'd leave it just like it was...Im having a hard time getting my car back to a decent stock look on the outside

Neejay, are you running those 18 inch sportmax rims? If so how would you review them (like, dislike, etc.)
