So here are some pics of my car I took today, let me know what you think...

I tried to get as many different angles, top up top down, but I still don't think pictures do justice.

The car is far from perfect right now...my goal is to have the exterior/interior finished within a year, then I will start building the other RB20 I just bought

And what car would be complete without a "Don't Push" button?

I really need to clean up my engine bay.

Alot of people talk **** about Ksport coilovers, but for daily driving, I love mine.

Thanks a lot!!! Looking good!!! I really appreciate you took your time taking those pics. You are the only vert with s14 kouki wing as far as I know. I think I'm going to go that route. I have already have a wingless trunk and a wing(not exactly s14 kouki wing, but very similar and about an inch lower than kouki wing). I'll keep original trunk w/oem wing just in case.

I've seen 2 s13s with kouki wing and this is one of them. The wing is molded to trunk BTW.

Isn't s14 wing wider than s13 trunk? Any modification involved?

No prob man, I try to share as much info as I have gathered on NICO.

The kouki wing is probably about 1/4" wider than the s13 trunk on each side.

I didn't do any modifications aside from drilling two mounting holes near the front, although maybe I should have as the fitment is far from perfect.

It is not really noticable unless you get close, but the s14 trunk is curved and the s13 isn't; this leavs a small gap inbetween the spoiler and the trunklid - here are some closeups so you can understand what I am talking about.

This gap is less than 1/4" from the spoiler to the trunklid...can't even tell unless you look close up.

Here is one of the screws I put in because this spoiler didn't come with the plastic clips to mount the front part of it.

Glad I can help a fellow vert member out, let me know if you have any more questions. BTW it's a slow day at work so I can take any pics you want lol(I love being an entrepenuer <-sp?)

I usually don't go on to a thread a make comments about how I don't like something. One thing I can't stand is when people make comments about how good a car looks when it obviously is not well put together. I honestly think some of the negative comments was someone just actually being honest about those photos. I feel there was a little too much info but I do feel that paint job should of only been worth $500. my .o2 cents......

wirelessalpha... you are my hero...

sci2000tech. sweet ride man! i dunno why there are so many haters here but, it is a sweet ride. there are a few imperfections like the spoiler gap, but thats easily fixable and in my opinion that spoiler look dead sexy on ur car. and anyway u said ur car is far from perfect. good job man

and to the other idiot that said that paintjob is only $500. i work at an autoshop that is literally 20 feet away from a body shop. and i help out at the body shop on my breaks. if i were to get paint like that on my car with an employee discount, it would be around $1000. so dont talk unless u know.

bottom line:

its a nice, well put together car. there are a few imperfections, but that comes with any car no matter what the total amount of money spent happens to be. keep up the good work.

This is the most entertaining thread I have read in a while lol.

So....to clear a few things up...

Driftking102, I didn't do the auto - manual swap. I bought the car with the RB and manual swap done(although it was halfassed)Also I have under $10,000 total into the car including the cost of the car itself.

Oh, and its an s13.5.vert.gts-t, but you were close

Wirelessalpha, thanks bro! you just saved me from having to do alot of writing:bigthumb

To everyone else - thanks for the comments, I take them all into concideration and will keep this thread updated.

BTW the reason the car doesn't look proffesional is because I do ALL the work myself in my garage. The pain job ran me about $300 in supplies and probably 40+ hours in my garage. Being my second attempt at painting a car ever, I am satisfied for now.

The bumper is all busted up because the alignment shop I took my car to doesn't know how to drive a lowered car. They were test driving it in the rain and hit a dip in the road...fast...next thing I know, I see them walking back holding my front bumper. Thank god for zipties.

As far as the color, I have been strongly concidering is300 metallic grey.photoshop courtesy of KDashy

Any thoughts on the color change??

HAHA oh God, theyre lucky they did that to your car and not mine, they would've been paying in full for the damages, or paying for their hospital bills.

i would go with the metallic grey. I am getting my car a jade green metallic and its going to look nice. But yeah you should go with the metallic grey. Looks more fierce like if you went up to a honda civic and they wanted to race you, and you didnt you could just scare them away with that metallic grey color. lol

That is my thought on it. Really nice car though.

ah (sigh) Eikon. I knew this would happen....oh well....lol.

Looks like my man took care of business (again! )

Sadly my legacy on this board is "erasing" away. lol.

PS Sci: The grey metallic is kinda ill. What is that mixture? Can you send me RGB values or whatever? Thanks. [email protected].

1c6 is the paint code

stock is300 color, and it is amazing in person

stop by your local paint store and they should be able to mix some up, I just picked up a pint to test on my spoiler before I spray the whole car.
