i boosted my N/A SR and blew my piston rings landsi bought another s14 N/A SR. stripped of a few things.. and proceeded to swap all my parts over..then got fed up of it and ditched them both..picked up a KA..my reason was i was putting too much money into the n/a > turbo setup that i wasn't able to get anything else done with the car.. i woulda had to put more into it to do what i wanted with it so i sold it..

im having to get back used to being so slow ha.

I had a chance to snag a set of 19s for a couple days..just to see if i could fit them..they fit.. but i had problems up front with the tire hitting the inner fender towards my motor when i made turns .. so i had to take them off.

specs 19x8.5 +10 w 235/35/19s front19x9.5 +35 w 245/35/19s Rear.

i had plans to run my 30mm spacers in the rear after i rolled and pulled my fenders.. but since im not keeping them. i decided not to roll them quite yet.

what could i do to prevent the fronts from rubbing the inside of the car when i turn??i would like to keep the 19s and run them and lower the car about an inch. or a half inch...

anyway.. think i pulled them off?

Taking them back off ha

and there's my update..no more SR for me..i plan to rebuild a KA and enter the world of boost once again.

If its not hitting too bad I would just bang it in with a hammer.

lol not something id reccomend on the quarter panels, but the front fenders who cares about those lol. Cars looks pretty clean why keep messing with NA engines and turboing those? Why not just get a factory turbo engine? It would be pretty different to put a CA in an s14 you should do it lol

w00t ka bandwagon ftw lol

if the rubbing isnt too bad then banging it w/ a hammer should be enough to clear the insides of any rub, other than full lock. which is only annoying when parking unless ur drifting i guess.

... or u could tub it.

i thought about that. and was.. but idk. if i decided to put them back on ill run my rear spacers and have a 19x9.5 +5 rear offset.. which would completely finish off the look i was going for with the 19s.

iv decided if i were to buy another SR it would be a turbo SR. but a built KA and good tuning and it will handle more than an SR ever would.

i planned to use a fender roller Sunday on the rears. but my friend had lent it out.

think i should keep em and run em?they are heavy tho..being 19 in sportmax's

cool. clean car too.

can't really say I like the wheels. i love that style of wheel, but with such weak sizes/lips, the red just really doesn't do anything special. gotta get some real wheels for that IMO. if they were a solid color they'd probably look much better.

oh, and 19s is WAY overboard especially stock bodied.

car is clean though, i like.

^^ yeah i know. the wheel color isnt one that i would go for.but im just borrowing them now. i have the choice of buying them. that's why i wanted to try to fit them..if i did buy them id be refinishing them.

and yeah ive always thought 19s were too much on teh s14.i would prefer a 17 or 18. but wanted to see if icould pull of the 19s.

what kind of suspension do you have? It looks like godspeed from the pic, thats what I'm running but my issue is not having the front low enough. Any opinions?

Also, I was running through your posts but havent found anything yet, do you have or know of any helpful walkthroughs for the SR20DE S14 swap? Thanks

How many miles are on the KA right now? I say boost that sucker as is. As long as you keep boost to a normal amount then you'll be fine.
