2011 QX56
I just got new Samsung Galaxy A26.
It will not stream music via BT. I mean - it streams, but it's chopped stream, just chunks of feed.
hands free phone works flawlessly.
Same phone works prefect on my 2019 RAM, no issues.
I employed Grok yesterday night and went through every single possible adjustment, resets, cleaning cache, developer options, you name it.
Nada. same problem. My other phones work flawlessly streaming music same car. Grok says it's basic conflict between the old BT SW and the new on in the phone.

I'm pretty sure, I am not the only one who has similar issue.
Anyone has working solution to this, short of rigging cables through USB C to Aux?
As of now, I simply have my old Galaxy A13 for streaming and new A26 for phone calls, but that's a) ridiculous and b) I have to hide streamer every time and rig charging for it.

Thank you

Literally, WTF!
Good news first.
I was trying to run music through freshly acquired USB C to Aux 3.5 mm cable just to find out that, all of the sudden, streaming via BT works just fine. And I spent 4 days trying to make it work!
Also, found that what normal people call Aux port, that being 3.5mm port, in Nissan mind is, actually, RCA inputs! Not 3.5mm jack.

Well,. glad it works. :werd:

Weird, weird, weird
I tried it again today and of course, it went back to the same issue - chopped sound streaming music off my Galaxy A26.
What I found though that if I have my old A13 connected, my new A26 connected, both set up as Audio player, then while old A13 is still connected as hands free, but A26 selected as Audio player - it works fine.
What is even more weirs is that even as A13 is selected as hands free phone, connection through A26 works just fine.
Not sure, what will happen tomorrow, after it sits overnight but, so far, I had car started and turned off maybe 6 times and A26, new phone works fine.

Weird, weird, weird..

So it all went down the sewers again. of course, I shouldn't have gloated that I made it work.
New phone stopped being hands free, I touched something in settings and so it all went bye bye.
basically, I am driving with my old A13 streaming music and new A26 used for hands free calls. I just gave up.
Super awkward.

I gave up and simply added Kinivo BT adapter to the car. Via Aux RCAs in central console.
I placed it behind the steering wheel, on the plastic "hub" top, so mic is close enough and it's easy to reach adapter controls.
Of course, I lost all SW controls but basic ones I can do directly on the adapter - Answer call, redial, skip music forward.
What is surprising is as it runs through Aux, for some reason, sound is much louder. regular BT connection I listened at 5-6 bars of volume, now - 3, seldom 4. Quality is excellent. It's my Kinivo #4, I had very good success with them.
