You have any other ideas Grant? Some of us are not lucky enough to live where you do and can just buy any of the JDM cars that you can. A pres conversion is sweet in the states/Hawaii, whatever. If I saw a pres conversion rolling around here I'd be in shock. So, what do you have in mind?

I understand where grant is coming from. But for me it's something I wanted to do since I first decided to buy my Q.

We do what we can.

Wow, until you said that I still had some appreciation of your opinion. Now I see that your mind changes with the wind. Just because G50's are old does not mean they are cheap by any means. Grant, get over yourself.

Wow mista808 very nice! I am also looking for a president conversion.

Where did you get your conversion from and how much was it?

Also I'm new to this whole conversion thing. But would this conversion work with my 1994 Q45? (I heard that this is for the 1990-1993 G50.) I also noticed it looks different from yours.

wait, you saying that, implies i care if someone has appreciation of my opinion

g50s are damn near the oldest true vIP platform avaliable in teh USits like someone taking an EF hatch adn trying to make it coolits just bad styling now. There are way better options for great prices out there.

im gonna try and sell the OE front to make some of my money back. maybe someone locally here would want to upgrade their 90-93 q45. but we'll see. im planning on painting it some sort of white, a bright *** white... toyota super white maybe... with a bright *** pearl.. if theres nothing out there bright enough, ill have one of my friends mix me up a custom white pearl... or a forest green... dunno yet, im trying to finish up my other car first.

That's like saying it's stupid to restore a 69 Camaro, a 57 Chevy, or a an old ford pick-up. There's no sense in you calling the cars that lots of people have and enjoy 'cheap'. Keep those comments to yourself.

Once again, to each his own.

***Mista808***Why not go for the Nissan Pearl Ivory?

i was thinking about it cuz i have some left over championship white paint i used to spray my friends 350z, laid some escalade white pearl over that, its bright but the championship white has a yellow tint to it... i remember cuz one of the colors mixed to make it, was yellow. its more of a off white...

whenever i paint a car for a friend, or myself, i to paint it a color other than a stock color that car came in. so that when people do see it, they know that car didnt come in that color.... we'll see though, i still gotta finish my lexus first before i can out more thought into my g50.

Everything is plug and play... the only thing I gotta splice is the side bumper markers.

Also the stock q45 has another bulb for high beams, along side a single bulb for high/low. that's not used anymore with the president headlights. The president headlight has a single bulb for high/low. Its all plug and play for the headlights... you still cool with your HIDs homie...

Stock corner lense plug plugged right into the president plug, for the president turn signal and city light....
