Hmmmm... I'm glad that you mentioned to 'not' go with coilovers, Nali. I'm a College Student with a budget, so I'd like to keep all costs to a minimum. My S13 is my daily driver, but I'd definitely want to lower the car without sacrificing too much comfort. I've looked into Eibach springs, but I've heard mixed reviews about. One especially being that their too stiff.Nali wrote:
Coilovers arent exactly beneficial for normal driving.
I dont get why people think every 240 needs Coilovers, even if its a daily driver.
Worse still people say PBM........PBM, have you every daily'd with PBM, youll hate driving anywhere because they are so stiff. PBMs are probably the worst coilover a daily driver can have. the worst.
Clearly you are going for a nice looking and feeling daily driver, so instead of spending tons on a performance part you will never fully utilize get some lowering springs, or if you have the cash Ksport Airtechs.
The only Coilover kit i think is even relatively decent for a "will never see the track car" is the JIC FLT-TAR VIP kit, which im not even sure come for S13s. ive only felt them in a 2000 maxima, and they were amazing.
Dont listen to all the sheep who tell you to get PBM or any other super stiff perfect for the track Coilover kit, its unnecessary.
On Topic.1. Lower it. By any means.2. Decent Wheels. 15-18" in size3. Pig lip, side skirts, rear valences and a minor roof spoiler4. Clean the KA. Dont get an SR.
What brand springs has a slightly stiffer feel than the OEMs, but for a decent price?
Also, you mentioned to 'not' go with SR... Out of curiosity, why would you say that?
