I had a judder problem on my 2003 4 wheel drive pathfinder, the pads looked worn yet still not thin, I replaced the pads to day lubed al the slider pins and ears on the new pads, sanded or took the rust off the rotors,

so nisan suggests to Bid the new pads in by going 30 MPH and slowing to a stop with moderate brake peddle pressure the from 30 Mph to stop wit in 3-5 seconds ,the ride 1 minute to cool off the rotors,, repeat 10 times, well I did this , , at first the grabbing was worse than with the old pads I took out, now its getting a little smoother but still has that little grabbing sensation, is it OK t6o keep driving until they really break in ?

Sounds like a warped rotor. I believe it's common practice to have the rotors machined true when you replace pads. Depending on the particular vehicle it's often less expensive to just put a new set on.

Compare the cost of labor. You have the caliper assemblies off anyway, so changing the rotors will take no more time. New ones are not that much more costly than turning old ones, plus you get full thickness with the new ones.
If you are DIYing it, then it is your effort so you have to gauge the difference.
I'd change rotors unless for some reason they were in VERY good shape.
