New Owners G35 to G37 or EX35

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hoping to purchase another G sedan or switch to a EX35. next week.

Looking for comments from current owners who purchased either and owned a G35 before, 2011 or 2012.
Trying to decide if the 2012 is worth the extra $'s and going with the EX35.

Read the posts but most were dated.
Thanks

well I never had a G35 before, but I did own an IS300 back in the day and I can tell you that the EX is so much more fun and versitile than that was, I know a more fair comparison would be an IS350, but I wanted to give you just a little different opinion.
The hatch is just big enough and I think they look better than the G35/G37 too,

I owned a G35 Sedan for seven years prior to purchasing the EX. I loved the car and had zero problems with it and would not hesitate in getting a G37. For me, I needed a little more ability to haul larger items than a sedan can support and I rarely have more than the two of us in the EX so it worked out great. Other than a higher center of gravity, the EX does feel like the G series in drivability. You really need to drive them both to see if they fit your needs. You may consider a 2011 since it appears there are no significant changes in the 2012.

I drove G35, 37x and currently Ex35.

Ex35 is relaxing to drive. Softer seat than the G37x i drove.
The only thing missing in the EX35 is the power surge that I feel on the G37 sedan.
You cannot duplicate that butt torque sensation from the G37 when I drive my EX35. It just does not there. Over all I think I would prefer the G37x bec. i prefer performance side than comfort. That only thing I hate about the G37x is the seat is stiff and sometimes hurts on longer trip.
Also I think the G37 is worse on thick snow due to lower ground clearance.

My recent blizzard experienced got me stucked 3 times in the parking lot with the ex35 even with snow tires, bec. the snow is that thick and there was not enough clearance under it.
