Hello,

New owner of a 300z, the first thing i am going to do with it, is change all the fluids

oil- synthetic Redline 10-40
coolant- blue bottle of Zerex
brake-synthetic =Dot 4

The manual transmission and gear oil- i need a little help with

I was gonna go with "Redline Heavy shockproof gear oil"

Question- can i use that for the Manual Transmission and the Rear Differential?

If not, what are you using?

Any help and opinions would be appreciated

I use Redline MT85 or synthetic 75W85 for the trans.
75W90 redline for the diff.

For the trans use whatever meets (not meets and exceeds) the OEM requirements (check the FSM in my sig). If it says GL-4 don't use GL-5 (especially with our crappy synchros made of marshmallow and glass). I run redline fluids throughout my drivetrain and Castrol Edge (Euro A3/B4 if available in the correct viscosity) in the engine in all my vehicles. Check Redline's website and search by the vehicle, they will match you to the right stuff.

I put Redline MT90 in my Transmission, and Redline 75w90 GL5 in the diff of my 93 NA 2+2 5spd. It was recommended by CZP.
