Picked up my '11 Dark Currant/Wheat today. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow. Spent 45 minutes with the dealer tech guy going over the radio etc... still don't know how it all works! I think I have the NAV/XM and phone worked out. I just need to figure out the rear video now.

Speaking of which, is anyone running a Wii in the rear? What do you do with the sensor bar? I know, crazy question! My son loves Star wars though!

Congrats! I have to fly to another city to get mine, 1 month, 2 weeks, 3 days, and 4 hours...not that I'm counting or anthing!

I'd love to see some pics and hear your thoughts on the headroom (that's my big issue)!

Rwestiv, I read you headroom thread. I am by no means a tall guy, 6' on a good day, and am pushing 240 lbs. This is only the second car I have had that required me to move the seats forward to reach the pedals. For headroom as you described in the other thread, I would say it will have a lot to do with your seating position. Do you recline or sit up pretty straight? I sit fairly straight and about 8" of clear head space. The sun roof intrudes very little.

I do have a friend who is a former naval aviator who owns an 08 version. He is about 6'3" and has no problem whatsoever fitting in the car. This new version has more headroom that the previous version. I really don't think it will be a problem for you. You'll know once you sit in one.

Good luck finding the right one. I was lucky that the exact car I wanted was sitting on the showroom floor. All options and the correct colour. The dealer claims the dark currant is the rarest colour and he has sold only one other in the Atlanta area. Makes me feel special I guess!!

Welcome to NICOclub and glad to have you join us here in the QX56 Forum! That is a really rich looking color combo, the Currant is awesome on the QX56! It is one of the tougher to find colors out there. Enjoy the new ride my friend!
