I joined the M45 club last week when I purchased a 2006 Sport. It's Twilight Blue, Graphite interior with Rosewood trim. It has advanced tech and rear entertainment.I'm beginning to get handle on all the features these cars have! One thing I can't figure out is how to get the satellite radio code to activate it. I scroll through the radio options but Sat, never comes up...any advice? Thanks in advance.

As I remember, you need to get a hold of the provider (XM/Sirius) and they help activate your radio?

Thanks for the welcome! When I call XM the said I need the radio code so they can activate it. Guess I'll just have to ask the stealer when I take it in for 30K mi. service...

That's odd....I'm not even subscribed and the XM station is always there with their infomercials about subscribing to XM Radio. It is usually there when scrolling through the options of FM, AM, XM, CD, & DVD choices.I don't know what to say if it is not there.... only option is the dealer unfortunately. Congrats by the way!

you don't need dealership.... just tune to Channel 1 or 0 and your radio ID will appear.just FYI... don't pay for the yearly plan, XM/Sirius are going bankruptcy.. i'm doing quarterly plan now.

Greetings AtlM! Lawrenceville GA as well here

If you select SAT Radio and tune it to Channel 1 your Radio ID will display. You can either call XM radio with this ID and buy a subscription or you can activate it online at XMRadio.com. Once you have contacted XM either by phone or web you will need to have your car outside with a clear view of the sky, turn the car to ACC and have your radio on. It takes about 30-60 min or so for the car to receive the activation code from the satellite. If you miss this window of opportunity you will need to get them to send the activation code again. Its a good time to play with all the gadgets and figure out how they all work while you're waiting for the radio to be activated

Thanks again for the input guys, but my problem was that I couldn't even get Sat radio to show up when I went through the radio options. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't do it either. They said they had to "reflash" the radio and it now works.

NightWatch, you ever go to the "Caffeine and Octane" at the Avenue East Cobb first Sunday morning of every month from 8:00-11:00?

I think I need a reflash too, cause I have the shark fin and I don't see any sat radio options
