New owner, starting the de-rice of my car

Hey all, picked up my first 240, its a bit odd and different since I'm an RX7 guy, but here we go anyways. Try not to vomit from the pics! hahaha

Getting rid of the wing, tails, mirrors, exhaust, wheels, and some other stuff, and generally cleaning it up.









Also had a question, I can't figure out what brand of coilovers these are, does anyone know?

ill be honest i dont think your car looks that bad. i mean the purp tint has gotta go and maybe some spacers or better offset wheels but it looks clean. and the spoiler atleast isnt a foot in the air. idk just my 2 cents. oh... and im not a big fan of the leather seat covers?... and steering wheel

really not that bad as far as ricy 240s go. And who puts coils on and still rides that high?

ha one more thing. i bought that cheap a$$ shift knob too. it glows if im corect. its replaced now...

No lie, that wing and the tails wouldn't be bad at all if you had aero to go along with it.

Its not that bad we've seen much much worse around here. I feel bad for you if you want to get rid of that tint you aren't in for an easy time. Search my build thread I had to do the same thing and found a pretty good way to do it

Prolly gonna get some 17x9 gold XXR 962s all around and get her a bit lower, get a decent catback off a friend, throw some stock tails on, and find some stock mirrors... Picking a Nardi Deep Corn up off a friend on Friday as well

Are you sure those are leather seat covers? They look like they are just leather seats, i think that it was an option on the later ones or something? Are the lights up front clear instead of amber cause its canadian?

Nah he just put clear signals up front, I dunno why. And for the seats, apparently the front and rear seats were redone with leather. I know that some models did come with leather though.

Get cool wheels, OEM sideskirts, and lower it all the way.

Then you are done. Leave the tint.

Car looks pretty good mate. Def get better fitting wheels and lose the wing. Other than that, you might want to look into the suspension situation... Those coilovers look rough...

it doesnt look bad, gotta get rid of that mid 90's mustang spoiler, wheels and get better tint, taking it off the rear glass is gonna suck because the defroster coils, actually the wheels arent to to bad just bad fitment....but i likes .......PeeP!

its actually a really clean car. i would do what others have already stated and what you have already stated. ditch the wheels, mirrors, tint, cluster, and switch the tails out for 180 tails. the wing isnt that bad. like others said, i would get a front lip, and some skirts. then drop it like its hot. interior is really clean . atleast you have a nice start. good luck and welcome. btw, you can make the ka a beast!

Like someone else said, you could probably pull those tails and wing off if you had some supporting aero and lowered more. Otherwise it looks pretty nice other than the walmart tint and bad offset wheels.

yeah that cluster is horrible. Hopefully you can find a junkyard with a good gauge cluster. Or if they are inserts you are good to go. That would be the most annoying part of the entire car, cause its the part I would see the most.

Actually a nice looking hatch. Was expecting a lot worse with your title. Lower it a bit with some nice offsets and get rid of the purple tint and you'll have a real nice hatch
