The fan you are referring to is the seat cooling fan and I'm not sure if that issue has been addressed. Tire noise is mostly with the Sport package due to the 19s. If that is an issue, go for the base model or you will need to experiment with tires. Tire noise is a problem with many performance cars today.

Not to be an *** but it's Infiniti, not Infinity.

I'm not sure I follow what a profesional car looks like.

I'm going to go against the grain on this one...

As much as I would love to "sell you this car", I would just stick with the civic if I were you. You are talking about buying a pre-owned, or perhaps, new M35, so you will look "professional", but then you plan on storing it all week long under a water-proof car cover, and just drive it on weekends?

Not sure what the logic is in that, but if you are making such "$" now, why not buy a garage with a house attached first, then worry about "looking professional".

If you do purchase the M, you most certainly will not regret it. But by all means, drive it everyday. You're making payments on a car that will depreciate every month. Don't wrap it in a silly car-condom and save it for special occasions.

Just my 2 cents, and congrats on the new job.

M-45 Z has put his .02 out there and before he gets flamed for it...his advice is worth considering.

I'm likewise hesitant to tell someone who's finally beginning to get a career together not to make the changes they feel go along with the career like finding a nice ride... Alternatively, I urge you to carefully consider the merit of his advice and what is more fiscally sound to do (first) with your hard earned & now bigger checks.

Get some time behind you with the career, pour efforts into that and gain some ground on a tough economy, do some planning for ownership of real (appreciating) property and avoid soaring transportation expenses. Hell....with real esate taking a dump these days, that's where to be looking.

Again, I'm not a fan of reality checks when someone REALLY has an eye for a nice car but I'd just hate to also see a post a year from now that you must get "out from under" the car financially because of whatever.

Don't get me wrong...I'm looking right now too. I've done the time, gotten house, wife & career headed in the right direction and am lookng for the next payoff in the form of a decent ride. Congrats on the career.
