I bought my 2006 M35 on Sunday. I love it. The only problem that I'm having is with the passenger side mirror when going into reverse. I have taken all required steps to set the mirrors and seat to my personal preference (stored them in place 1). It won't adjust flawlessly like its driver side counterpart. When the car is shifted into reverse and the mirror selector switch is shifted into the passenger side position, the mirror starts to jerk. Any thoughts? The car is still under warranty. Also, I would appreciate any suggestions on tire pressure. I have been trying to keep it at 33psi (cold pressure) but they seem to fluctuate day to day.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing back from other owners.

Welcome to the site.

Yes, take it back to the dealer to have that mirror fixed under the warranty.

Tire pressure is pretty personal. Just stay between 32 & 38 PSI depending on your preference in ride comfort and handling.

Above 38 PSI will cause the tire to wear mainly in the middle of the tire. Below 32 PSI will lessen your handling and cause excessive wear on the outer edges of the tire.

The M has a function to tilt the mirror down when reverse and it is depends on your mirror adjustment selector. If you put the selector in middle, no mirror will tilt, if you put it on left (mirror), then the left mirror will tilt when reverse.

In your situation, I would assume the selector is in the right position (since you mentioned the passenger mirror moves). You can adjust the mirror down as much as it allows and then back to the normal position and next time when you shift to reverse, it will tilt down and after you shift out of reverse, the mirror will come back to its original position. Or, you can just put the selector in middle (which is what I prefer) and do not let it to tilt - when you need them to tilt, simply move the selector to the right and it will tilt.

You should turn the car to ON position, engine OFF, set your mirror to desired position while in reverse, put in back into Park, the mirror will re-adjust to normal position, press Set and 1 or 2 for about 5 secs until the light flashes and u all set, start the car and shift into reverse to verify set is complete .... if that doesnt work, take it to the dealer, they will replace your mirror/motor.Good luck.
